Effect of Organic Management on Growth, Yield and Economics of Green Gram, Pigeon Pea and Sunflower under Rainfed Conditions

A field experiment was conducted during Kharif, 2021 at Gungal (around 43 km from Hyderabad) Research Farm of ICAR-Central Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Hyderabad, India. The soil Sandy clay loam in texture, slightly acidic reaction, low organic carbon, available nitrogen, phosphorus and medium potassium. laid out a randomized complete block design with three treatment combinations viz., Organic (recommended 100% N equivalent FYM), Integrated 25% FYM + 75% P K through chemical fertilizers) Control 100 % NPK fertilizer) replicated nine times. Based on the results, it found that growth, yield attributes, yield, economics respect to all crops green gram, pigeon pea sunflower were significantly higher which followed by integrated control.
